Dear AHS Rotary Interact Hero,

As you know, we will be taking part in a Feed the AHS Faculty and Staff service project on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018.

Why are we doing this? This service project is, of course, an opportunity to show gratitude to the faculty and staff at Aiken High School. Of course we appreciate the people who educate us and of course we want to show this gratitude!

Beyond that, though, it is chance for us really shine, to enhance our reputation here at school. That’s not an inconsequential thing. A good reputation is a treasure. That is true at school, in business and in your personal life. It is true for groups and for individuals.

Always pay attention to your reputation.

What are we asking? Simply that each member bring a small tray or plate of sandwiches to Mr. Lader’s room on October 24th, the day of the luncheon.

Of course, big trays and plates of sandwiches are welcome, too!

It would be wonderful if you could bring your sandwiches in a cooler with ice. If you do not have a cooler, please don’t stress. Mr. Lader will have coolers full of ice to keep your sandwiches cold.

Any additional donations you could make (like a bag of chips or a jar of iced tea) would be greatly appreciated.

If there are leftovers, they will be taken to a local shelter for the homeless.

Thank you so much for supporting this project. Let’s show the faculty and staff at Aiken High School that the AHS Rotary Interact Club always exceeds expectations, that we always go the extra mile, that Service above Self is real to us, not just a slogan that we put on a bumper sticker. It’s an important part of who we are and how we live.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Art Lader
